A Clintonville man is being held on a 10-thousand dollar cash bond following his initial appearance in Waupaca County Circuit Court this afternoon in an OWI Homicide case. 24 year old Cord L. Guyette faces a count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle in the death of his brother, 25 year old Cory Guyette of Bear Creek, late Sunday afternoon. Authorities allege an intoxicated Cord Guyette lost control of the pick-up he was driving on County Highway “T” east of Manawa, and crashed and rolled in the ditch. Cory Guyette, a passenger in the truck, was ejected and died at the scene. The complaint alleges Cord Guyette told officers he had consumed 6 or 7 beers throughout the day Sunday before the crash. If convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison. Guyette is due back in court next Tuesday.
