A criminal complaint in Waupaca County Court has been issued against an Appleton man, charging him with multiple offenses. 26 year old Nickolas J. Poplawski faces a felony count of possession of methamphetimine, along with misdemeanor counts of drunk driving– 2nd offense, operating while revoked, bail jumping, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The complaint alleges a sheriff’s deputy found Poplawski passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle earlier this month in the Town of Dayton. The officer allegedly found methamphetimine and drug-related items in the car. If convicted, he could face up to 3 and a half years in prison. Poplawski makes his initial court appearance July 11th.
