A Red Granite man will serve time on probation following sentencing in Waupaca County Court on a marijuana conviction. 33 year old Christopher C. Armstrong entered no contest pleas to possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and bail jumping, with four other counts, including recklessly endangering safety, dismissed but read in for sentencing. Armstrong was arrested during a drug bust in a business parking lot on the city’s southeast side last November. He attempted to flee officers in his vehicle, then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, tossing nearly 300 grams of pot in the chase. A 3 year prison term was imposed and stayed, and instead Armstrong was placed on 3 years probation.
