A RedGranite man is being held on a 25-hundred dollar cash bond following multiple charges in Waupaca County Court related to drug trafficking. 32 year old Christopher C. Armstrong faces felony counts of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, first degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing, and two counts of bail jumping, along with a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge. The complaint says officers had set up a pre-arranged drug buy with Armstrong in mid-November, at an east-side Waupaca business parking lot, using a confidential informant. Officers spotted Armstrong’s vehicle, and as they approached, he allegedly fled at a high rate of speed through the crowded parking lot. Before exiting the lot, the complaint says he stopped and fled on foot, allegedly tossing a bag of marijuana as he ran. Armstrong was caught after a short chase, and officers found the bag. In all, the complaint alleges 292 grams of marijuana was found in the bag, and in the vehicle. If convicted, Armstrong could face up to 30 years in prison. He is due back in court next Tuesday.
