A Waupaca man will spend time in prison on a drug conviction. 38 year old Michael E. Ball this week was handed a two year prison term, plus two years on extended supervision following his release, on convictions of possession of heroin with intent to deliver, and neglect of a child. Ball was arrested following a search of his home last September, which turned up heroin and other drugs. The complaint says authorities also made several controlled drug purchases at the residence using police confidential informants. At the time of the drug trafficking, there was a 7 month old child in the home.
