A Clintonville man is being held on a 25-hundred dollar cash bond following domestic abuse-related charges in Waupaca County Court. 53 year old David S. Balthazor faces felony counts of intimidation of a victim and 2nd offense marijuana possession, plus a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct– domestic abuse as a repeat offender. The criminal complaint says authorities were called to a Town of Matteson residence Tuesday evening where an allegedly intoxicated Balthazor threatened to kill everyone in the home, which included multiple children. The complaint says he struck another vehicle in the driveway with his vehicle when he arrived. The complaint alleges his blood-alcohol level, taken at the jail following his arrest, was .157 percent. The repeater provision in the charges stems from Balthazor’s convictions on two previous domestic abuse cases in Brown County in 1997. If convicted on the new charges, he could face up to 15 years in prison. Balthazor is due back in court on Tuesday.
