A Waupaca woman will serve time in the county jail following sentencing on a felony drunk driving conviction in Waupaca County Court. 61 year old Debra J. Bechard entered a no contest plea to her 5th drunk driving offense, along with a count of bail jumping. She was ordered to serve 7 months in the county jail, with Huber privileges, but she is allowed to serve the time on electronic monitoring. Bechard was also placed on two years probation, lost her driving privileges for two years, and must install an ignition interlock device for two years. She was also ordered to pay a fine of 18-hundred dollars, plus court costs. Bechard was arrested in the Town of Farmington in May 2015, driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .180 percent.
