A Berlin man remains in jail following another high-speed pursuit, this one early Wednesday morning. 31 year old Andy J. Roxbury faces felony counts of fleeing and bail jumping, along with a misdemeanor bail jumping charge. The criminal complaint says Waupaca County authorities were notified of a high speed chase in Waushara County on State Highway 49, about to enter Waupaca County. Waupaca County deputies intercepted the chase, with Roxbury the alleged driver, as he entered onto Highway 96 near Fremont. The complaint says speeds reached 120 miles per hour east of Fremont, before stop sticks were used near County “W” to finally get the vehicle stopped. In all, the chase went nearly 27 miles. The complaint alleges Roxbury admitted to authorities smoking meth earlier in the evening. He was ordered held on 25-hundred dollars cash bond, and is due back in court on the 22nd. He faces nearly 10 years in prison if convicted.
