A Waupaca man is free on a 1000 dollar signature bond following a felony forgery charge in Waupaca County Court. 39 year old Timothy J. Boehnlein also faces a misdemeanor theft charge, with both counts charged out with a repeater provision. Boehnlein allegedly stole a check from a Town of Farmington resident earlier this month, wrote it out to himself for about 250 dollars, then allegedly forged her name and cashed it. The repeater provision stems from Boehnlein’s conviction last year in Outagamie County on a felony theft charge. If convicted on the latest charges, he could face up to 10 years behind bars. Boehnlein is due back in court January 8th.
