An Iola man will serve time in the Waupaca County jail following sentencing on two burglary convictions. 25 year old Brandon J. Bucher was ordered to to serve 3 months behind bars, and 4 years on probation, for burglarizing a downtown Waupaca tavern in June of 2015, and an east-side bowling alley this past January. Judge Ray Huber imposed and stayed a two year prison sentence, opting instead for probation and time in the county jail. Several other charges, including bail jumping, theft, and criminal damage to property were dismissed, but read in for sentencing purposes. Bucher was also ordered to pay restitution of over 7 thousand dollars.
