A Manawa youth is being referred to the Waupaca County District Attorney’s office for possible charges in connection with a lock-down at Manawa High School Tuesday. Students were secured in their classrooms at 9:30 after a threatening message was found in a restroom. After an assessment was made by police, students were escorted onto buses and taken to another location. Police Chief James Gorman says their investigation determined there was a single juvenile involved in the threat. This is the second such incident at Manawa schools this school year.
