Motorists in downtown Waupaca will have to use some creativity in getting around the City Square early next week. Public Works Director Justin Berrens says crews are planning to pave the entire City Square project beginning Monday, and that will mean the entire project area will be shut down to vehicles. East Fulton, Jefferson, and East Union Streets will be closed, as will the parking lot for the library. Pedestrian traffic will be allowed on the sidewalks in the area. Paving is scheduled for Monday, with the pavement striping slated to be done on Tuesday. If all goes according to plan, the streets will be re-opened on Wednesday.
