A Clintonville man made his initial appearance in Waupaca Co. Circuit Court on Monday facing a felony drug charge. 22-year-old John E. Bohl faces a felony charge of possession of Methamphetamine. According to the criminal complaint, Bohl failed to stop for an officer in the City of Clintonville on Sunday. After pulling into his driveway, the officer detected an odor of marijuana as he approached the vehicle. Upon search, a clear plastic baggie with a green leafy substance identified as marijuana was found. Also found were a backpack with a glass bong-type smoking device and a cardboard box with a rubber green smoking device, multiple gem bags, with one of those gem bags containing flakes of a substance consistent with Methamphetamine. If convicted, Bohl faces up to three and a half years in prison and a suspension of his license for up to 5 years. Bohl is due back in court on September 25th.
