The Waupaca County Clerk’s office is a passport acceptance agency. In fact, according to clerk Jill Lodewegen, the clerk’s office is the only passport acceptance agency in the county. Lodewegen says the best way to find out what is needed to get a passport is to log on to the county’s website (www.co.waupaca.wi.us) and click on the county clerk department tab. There you’ll find a link for passports that will detail what is needed. The estimated time for completing the application process is 15 to 20 minutes. The county clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 pm.
