A New London man will serve time in the county jail following a felony drunk driving conviction in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 57 year old James A. Coyle had entered a no contest plea to his 5th operating while intoxicated, and was ordered to serve a year in jail, with the last two months stayed, to be used at the discretion of the probation agent. Coyle was placed on probation for 3 years, and was also ordered to pay a 24-hundred dollar fine, plus court costs. He lost his driving privileges for 3 years, and must install an ignition interlock device for 3 years. Coyle was stopped in the city of Waupaca in August of 2015, driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of .25 percent.
