An Oshkosh man will serve time in prison for a cocaine-related traffic death in 2013. 58 year old Miguel Victor Cruz entered no contest pleas in Waupaca County Circuit Court this morning to homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and 2nd degree reckless homicide, and was sentenced to 3 years in prison by Judge Ray Huber. Cruz was also placed on 6 years extended supervision following his release. Cruz was under the influence of cocaine when he was swerving through traffic on Hiway 10 near the Waupaca Fleet Farm at speeds approaching 90 miles per hour when his jeep clipped an S-U-V, forcing both vehicle to roll. In the crash, the S-U-V driver, 28 year old Sarah Dulmes of West Bend, was killed. Cruz suffered non-life threatening injuries.
