A Clintonville man is free on a 2000 dollar signature bond following a felony drunk driving charge in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 52 year old William Davidson faces a 5th offense operating while intoxicated, after a traffic stop in Clintonville Monday night. The complaint alleges Davidson was driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of .12 percent, and also allegedly admitted to the officer that he had smoked marijuana before getting behind the wheel. Davidson has four prior OWI convictions dating back to 2001. If convicted on the newest charge, he could face up to ten years behind bars. His signature bond requires him to adhere to the jail’s alcohol monitoring program. Davidson is due back in court December 10th.
