A Clintonville man is being held in the Waupaca County jail on a 100-thousand dollar cash bond after being charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide. 22 year old Brady A. DeCamp made his initial appearance in Waupaca County Court Tuesday, also charged with possession of a controlled substance. The criminal complaint alleges DeCamp put a knife to the throat of another man in his Clintonville apartment Monday, saying he was going to kill him, and causing a cut to the man’s neck. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. The complaint says upon arresting DeCamp, police found two knives in sheaths, attached to his ankles. They also allegedly found other knives during a search of the apartment. The complaint alleges they also found amphetimines, and says DeCamp told police that he was “Jesus Christ”. If convicted, he could face up to 60 years in prison. DeCamp is due back in court May 11th.
