A Green Bay woman may face a felony charge after her dog died inside a locked vehicle in the Lambeau Field parking lot Thursday. Green Bay police were called to that parking lot just after 12:30 by someone who saw the Golden Retriever in distress in the vehicle– the windows were all closed, and the outside temperature was close to 80 degrees. Police got the dog out, but it was dead when taken to a local animal hospital. Authorities say they will forward a felony charge of mistreatment of an animal causing death to the district attorney’s office against the 55 year old woman. Authorities say the temperature inside the car likely exceeded 120 degrees.
