An Iola man is facing multiple felonies in Waupaca County Circuit Court, just 2 days after being sentenced on earlier charges. 63 year old Jerome Drapes is charged with burglary, aggravated battery against an elderly person, and two counts of bail jumping, along with misdemeanor counts of mistreating animals, lewd and lascivious behavior, theft, and disorderly conduct. The criminal complaint alleges Drapes illegally entered a residence in the Town of Lind last Thursday, allegedly assaulting a female there, and taking her cell phone. Drapes is also alleged to have exposed his genitals to another female in the town of Helvetia, and allegedly beat a dog with a stick. Drapes was sentenced last Tuesday to probation after he pleaded no contest to making terrorist threats and disorderly conduct. On the new charges, he was ordered held on a 5000 dollar cash bond. He is due back in court on Tuesday.
