A criminal complaint and arrest warrant have been issued in Waupaca County for an Iola man charged with threaatening a Waupaca business. 62 year old Jerome Drapes faces a felony count of making a terrorist threat, along with a count of disorderly conduct. The complaint alleges earlier this month Drapes threatened to return to a Waupaca convenience store and shoot up it’s gas pumps, and blow up the underground tanks. The complaint says he was upset over multiple overdraft charges on his checking account. If convicted, Drapes could face up to 3 and a half years in prison. No initial appearance date has yet been set.
