Four people have been charged, with three still in custody, following a drug bust on Waupaca’s south side earlier this week. 31 year old Stephanie A. Dillman of Waupaca is jailed on a 10-thousand dollar cash bond, facing charges of possession of cocaine, amphetamines, and schedule 4 drugs… all with intent to deliver, along with charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, neglecting a child, and bail jumping. 27 year old Melissa Sue Dillman of Waupaca is being held on 2000 dollars cash bond, charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of amphetamines, and drug paraphernalia. 32 year old Patrick B. Connolly of Waupaca is in jail on a 1000 dollar cash bond after charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, neglect of a child, and drug paraphernalia. And 43 year old Fernando Vargas of New London is charged with possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Vargas is free after posting a 2000 dollar cash bond. The charges stem from the execution of two search warrants Monday, one on Evans Street in Waupaca, the other in King. The criminal complaint alleges officers found over 610 grams of marijuana, 8 and a half grams of cocaine, 61 grams of meth, multiple pills, a large amount of cash, and a shotgun in the Evans Street search, plus a 7 year old child in the home. The complaint says the home was shared by both Dillmans and Connolly. Vargas was arrested at the scene when he pulled up in a vehicle, and officers allegedly found drugs in his vehicle. Stephanie Dillman faces the most serious charges, and up to 70 years in prison if convicted. The others face between 4 and 9 years behind bars. All are due back in court May 21st.
