Durrant of Weyauwega is in jail on a probation hold, following a felony count of maintaining a drug trafficking place, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The criminal complaint says police executed a search warrant at Durrant’s residence in the city Monday, allegedly finding multiple items of drug paraphernalia, including items for packaging drugs. If convicted, she could face 3 and a half years in prison. A 5000 dollar signauture bond was ordered, with Durrant due back in court on the 31st.
The other case charges 44 year old Jeffrey A. Scribner of Iola with felony counts of delivery of heroin, and falsely present non-controlled substances. The complaint alleges Scribner sold a bindle of heroin to a police confidential informant in Iola in April, and allegedly made a similar drug transaction in Waupaca in June, but in that one, the substance tested negative as a controlled substance. If convicted, Scribner faces up to 16 years behind bars. He was released on a 5000 dollar signature bond, and is also due back in court on the 31st.
