Two Fremont men are jailed on cash bonds following drug charges in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 79 year old Charles G. Moore faces felony counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, while 59 year old Stacey J. Cloutier is charged with possession with intent to deliver. The criminal complaint says authorities intercepted 21 pounds of marijuana last Wednesday allegedly being shipped to Moore from Oregon. An officer posed as the delivery person, and delivered the package to Moore and Cloutier, who were waiting at a Fremont convenience store parking lot. Following their arrest, authorities then obtained a search warrant for Moore’s home, allegedly finding other quantities of pot, plus moonshine from Kentucky, and 50-thousand dollars in cash. If convicted, Moore could face up to 18 years in prison. He’s being held on a 50-thousand dollar cash bond. Cloutier faces up to 12 and a half years behind bars. He’s being held on a 1000 dollar cash bond.
