A Madison man is free on a 2000 dollar signature bond following a felony gun charge in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 21 year old Taylor R. Tiner faces a count of felon in possession of a firearm, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and obstructing police. The criminal complaint says a state trooper clocked Tiner driving 78 miles per hour in the Town of Iola earlier this month. When the trooper turned to pursue the vehicle, Tiner drove into a private residence and attempted to hide the vehicle behind some trees. The trooper spotted the vehicle, and allegedly found a 40-caliber handgun under the seat, and a baggie of marijuana. If convicted, Tiner could face up to 10 years in prison. Court records show he has a previous felony conviction in the state of Florida.
