The Waupaca County District Attorney’s office has filed four more drug cases in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 23 year old Harley T. Dobbertin of Iola faces felony counts of delivery of cocaine and bail jumping. The criminal complaint alleges Dobbertin sold cocaine to a police confidential informant in a Waupaca park in April. The bail jumping count stems from bond conditions on an Outagamie County drug case from earlier this month. Dobbertin faces up to 16 years in prison if convicted.
48 year old Steven L. Scribner of Iola is charged with a felony count of delivery of heroin. He is alleged to have sold heroin to a confidential informant at his Fischer Road residence in the Town of Wyoming in April. Scribner could face up to 12 and a half years behind bars if convicted.
Another Iola man, 31 year old Korey J. Thoma, faces a felony count of possession of drug paraphernalia used to manufacture and deliver methamphetamine, along with a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge. The complaint alleges officers found multiple items used for drug-making in his Iola residence during a search earlier this month. Thoma faces up to 6 years in prison if convicted.
And 67 year old Dennis N. Hansen of Waupaca is charged with two felony counts of delivery of marijuana. Hansen is alleged to have sold pot to a police confidential informant twice in February of 2016 at a residence on the Chain ‘o Lakes in the Town of Farmington. If convicted, he could face up to 7 years in prison. Dobbertin, Scribner, Thoma, and Hansen all make their initial court appearances this afternoon.
