A Waupaca man has been ordered to serve 9 months in jail following sentencing on a probation revocation in Waupaca County Court. 53 year old Courtland D. Fritz was originally sentenced to probation in 2014 on multiple convictions of credit card fraud. Court records indicate he failed to abide by rules of his probation. Fritz was given credit for 160 days in jail already served.
In another probation revocation hearing, 48 year old Penny E. Alexander of Tigerton was given 5 days in jail. Alexander was sentenced to probation in 2016 on a conviction of 2nd offense marijuana possession. In that case a bail jumping count was dismissed, but read into the record. The pot charge stemmed from a traffic stop in the Town of Larrabee in June of 2016.
