A Weyauwega woman is in jail on a probation hold following multiple charges in Waupaca County Court, including making false accusations against an officer. 23 year old Allisa J. Guyette allegedly told a state trooper, while she was being taken to jail, that another officer has sexually assaulted her on the previous day. An investigation by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department found Guyette’s accusations to be false, and she allegedly admitted to the investigator that she made up the story as a means to get out of jail. She is also facing charges of stalking, defamation of character, and obstructing an officer. She faces up to 9 years in prison if convicted.
