A Weyauwega man is free on a 2000 dollar signature bond following a burglary charge in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 19 year old Cody B. Harris also faces a misdemeanor theft count, for allegedly breaking into a home on Wisconsin Street in Waupaca last week, and allegedly taking a large amount of cash. If convicted, Harris could face up to 12 and a half years in prison. He is due back in court January 30th.
Meanwhile, a Waupaca man makes his initial appearance in court next week on a drug charge. 60 year old Keenan W. Morgan faces a felony count of possession of marijuana– 2nd or subsequent offense. The complaint alleges authorities found packaged marijuana in Morgan’s residence during a probation search in early December. Morgan was previously convicted of delivery of heroin, and bail jumping, in 2012. He faces up to 7 and a half years in prison if convicted. Morgan is due in court on the 16th.
