Four Waupaca men have been charged in Waupaca County Circuit Court in connection with two separate heroin overdose cases from earlier this week.
21 year-old Colt J. Flynn and 22 year-old Rudy R. David-Weber face counts of delivery of heroin and narcotics charges, after Flynn was found passed out after allegedly using heroin at a Pine Street residence on Monday. Authorities allege two bindles of drugs were found at the scene. Both Flynn and David-Weber face up to 18 years in prison if convicted. They were ordered held on $1,500 cash bonds, and are due back in court April 12th.
Meanwhile, 25 year-old Adam D. Hoerres and 32 year-old Roy Shook, III each face a charge of delivery of heroin as a party to a crime, with Hoerres also facing a count of neglecting a child. The complaint alleges Hoerres overdosed on heroin at a North Washington Street address Wednesday, after the pair allegedly picked up the drug in New London. Police say there was an 18 month old child at the residence at the time. Hoerres and Shook face up to 12 1/2 years in prison if convicted. Their next court appearance is also April 12th.
