A home in the Portage County Town of Dewey suffered significant damage from a fire Wednesday morning. Fire crews were called around 8 a.m. to the house on Sunset Drive. It was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. Seven people living at the residence all got out unharmed. Authorities say the home did not have any smoke detectors. Fire personnel from the Town of Dewey, Rosholt, Mosinee, Park Ridge, and Rudolph all responded to the blaze.
