A Waupaca area teenager will serve 10 years in prison in the shooting death of another teenager this past summer. 18 year old Austin Hovarter was sentenced in Waupaca County Court this morning in the death of 15 year old Jacob Peglow. Hovarter shot Peglo with a pistol at a Town of Farmington residence in July as the two were handling multiple firearms. Hovarter had pleaded no contest to first degree reckless homicide in early January. Judge Troy Nielson this morning sentenced Hovarter to the 10 year prison term, along with 10 years extended supervision following his release.
