One person was hurt in a two vehicle accident near Fremont Wednesday afternoon. According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, an S-U-V driven by 62 year old Daniel Soluk of Vermillion, South Dakota was exiting U.S. Highway 10 eastbound onto County Highway “II”. The report says Soluk turned onto “II” into the path of a southbound S-U-V driven by 54 year old Warren Tran of Menasha. Soluk’s vehicle ended up overturning, coming to rest on its side. He suffered lacerations in the crash, and was treated by ambulance personnel at the scene. Tran was not hurt. Soluk was also cited for failure to yield the right of way.
