A Waupaca County jail inmate is facing new charges following an incident in the jail late last month. 27 year old Tyler C. Peterson of Hancock faces charges of battery to a law enforcement officer and discharging bodily fluids at a public safety worker. The complaint alleges Peterson bit an officer’s finger, and kicked an officer in the face, while officers were attempting to take items out of Peterson’s cell. If convicted, he could face up to 9 and a half years in prison. Peterson is due back in court June 11th.
