A Stevens Point man will serve time in jail following sentencing on a felony operating while intoxicated conviction in Waupaca County Court. 41 year old Christopher Avilez entered a no contest plea to 5th offense operating with a restricted controlled substance. He was arrested in Waupaca in January of 2018 driving under the influence of marijuana. Avilez was ordered to serve 6 months in jail, with Huber privileges. He also had his license revoked for two years, and must install an ignition interlock device for a year. Avilez was also ordered to pay fines and costs of over 23-hundred dollars.
