A Waupaca man will serve time in the county jail following conviction on a 4th drunk driving offense. 56 year old Jerome P. Ashley entered a no contest plea to the charge, which stems from a traffic accident in the Town of Dayton in August of 2015. The complaint says Ashley crashed his vehicle while driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .189 percent. He was ordered to serve 9 months in the county jail, with 3 months stayed, to be used at the discretion of the probation agent. Ashley was placed on two years probation, and was ordered to install an ignition interlock device for 3 years, and lost his driving privileges for 3 years.
