A $2,000 signature bond is set for a Clintonville man who made his initial appearance in Waupaca Co. Circuit Court on Tuesday afternoon. Thirty-one-year-old Cody M. Jobe faces one count of Operating a Motor Vehicle without Owner’s Consent from an incident around October 19th in the Town of Wyoming. According to the criminal complaint, Jobe and another man were drinking in the Iola area. Later on, Jobe crashed his vehicle into a guardrail on County G in the Town of Wyoming. The complaint alleges he took a 2013 Chevy Cruze parked in a nearby driveway with the keys in it in order to pull his own vehicle out. The owner of the Chevy Cruze found her vehicle with the help of On Star on Highway 110 in Marion. The owner reported the vehicle suffered a dent to one of the panels in the passenger side. If convicted, Jobe could face up to six years in prison. He is due back in court on February 18th.
