Felony charges have been filed in Waupaca Co. Circuit Court against a Waushara Co. man accused of causing a death last year. According to the criminal complaint, 32-year-old Shawen M. Jones of the Town of Leon, is charged with reckless homicide by delivery of drugs, delivery of narcotics and felony bail jumping in the death of 40-year-old Eric Mudrow. On May 12, 2017, Waupaca Co. sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from Lind Center Rd. in the town of Lind. Mudrow’s mother found the 40-year-old Mudrow dead in an RV trailer parked on the family’s property. Deputies found a beer can fashioned into a smoking device and a piece of aluminum foil with burnt residue. Jones remains in Waupaca Co. jail on a $20,000 cash bond. If convicted, Jones faces up to 40 years in prison. Jones makes his next appearance in Waupaca Co. Circuit Court on September 18th.
