Sentencing is set for late May in Waupaca County Circuit Court for a Stevens Point man found guilty on multiple counts Tuesday. A jury took 90 minutes to find 32 year old Christopher L. Dominick guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed knife, resisting, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges followed a traffic stop in Waupaca last April in which officers found the weapon, a 12-inch Bowie knife, and various items of drug paraphernalia. Dominick faces up to 6 years in prison when sentenced May 29th. A status conference on another felony case involving Dominick is also slated for that day.
