A Portage County man will serve time in prison for firing shots at his Hmong neighbor, and firing shots during a stand-off with police last year. 81 year old Henry Kaminske of Junction City was ordered to spend three years behind bars during sentencing Friday. Kaminske had pleaded no contest to 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, as a hate crime, and possession of child pornography. Eight other charges were dismissed in the plea agreement. Kaminske was also placed on extended supervision for three years following his release. He fired two shots during a confrontation with his Hmong neighbor who was working in her garden. He then held police at bay for two hours before surrendering.
