A Clintonville man will spend time in jail following multiple convictions in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 29 year old Kody S. Kleckner entered no contest pleas to felony counts of threats to a law enforcement officer and bail jumping, along with a misdemeanor conviction for battery– domestic abuse. The battery charge was from October 2018 when he had a physical altercation with a Clintonville woman. He then threatened to kill a police officer, and the officer’s family, during his arrest in February. Those threats were captured on audio recordings from a squad car. Kleckner was ordered to serve six months in jail, with credit for 47 days already served. He was also placed on probation for three years.
