A New London man will have his reckless homicide case heard in federal court. The Outagamie County case against 27 year old Tyler Kuhnke was dismissed last month, and will likely be heard before Chief Federal Judge William Griesbach. Kuhnke is accused of supplying fentynal to 23 year old Johnathan Ernst of New London in June. Ernst died of an overdose. Authorities say the change to federal court is due to other drug dealers that may transcend county or state lines being tied to the case. Kuhnke faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
