A New London man is free after posting a 5000 dollar cash bond, following drug charges in Waupaca County Court. 43 year old Ramiro Leon faces two counts of delivery of cocaine, plus single counts of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance with intent, near a school. The complaint alleges Leon sold cocaine to a police confidential informant twice this fall in New London. Upon execution of a search warrant at his Smith Street residence, officers allegedly found over 800 grams of marijuana, much of it in an out-building, with much of it already packaged. If convicted, Leon could face up to 45 years behind bars. He is due back in court January 9th.
