5/27/2013	VFW Post 1037 Memorial Day Program at Rotary Riverview Park
		The VFW Post 1037 Memorial Day program will be held at Rotary Riverview Park behind Main Street, Waupaca. The Ladies Auxiliary waterside ceremony will start at 9am, followed by the program. Music will be provided by the Waupaca High School Band. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Waupaca High School PAC.

		The Waupaca Lioness 3rd Annual Community Wide Rummage Sale will be held on Saturday, June 8th. People can pick up registration forms now at the Waupaca Area Chamber Office. Registration cost is $5, due by Friday, May 31st, with a part of the registration fee going to the Waupaca Food Pantry.

6/1/2013	Manawa Farmer's Market/Marketplace Season Opening w/Duck Race & Family Day
		The 2nd season of the Manawa Farmer's Market/Marketplace opens with a duck race and Family Day on Saturday, June 1st at Triangle Park across from the Manawa Fire Station. The duck race begins at Noon at the bridge. Family Day includes: face painting, bouncy house, police and fire displays, food, arts & crafts, and seasonal produce. 		The Together We Ride Lou Gehrig's Disease benefit ride will be held on Saturday, June 1st. Sign up will be from 9am to 10:30am, with departure at 11am from Chain BP, Waupaca. 		Sunday, June 2nd is Drive Your Tractor, Old Car, or Motorcycle to Church at Hitterdahl Lutheran Church in Iola. Join the worship service at 10am (come early and view the vehicles as they arrive). Ministry Home Care offers grief support to everyone in the community, regardless of their involvement with hospice prior to the death.
