A Waupaca man is being held in the county jail on a 2000 dollar cash bond after allegedly head-butting a woman at an area convienence store. 33 year old Nicholas R. Goulet is charged with felony counts of substantial battery– intending bodily harm, and possession of marijuana– 2nd offense, along with misdemeanor counts of obstruction, disorderly conduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The complaint alleges Goulet head-butted the 25 year old female during an argument with children involved last Thursday evening. The criminal complaint says the woman needed 12 stitches at the emergency room to close the wound. the complaint also alleges police found pot in the man’s car during a search following his arrest. If convicted, he faces up to 7 years in prison. Goulet is due back in court on Tuesday.
