A Fond Du Lac man suffered serious injuries in a diving accident in the Town of Fremont Sunday afternoon. According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department, the 31 year old man dove head first from a pontoon boat into shallow water on Partridge Lake shortly before 4 pm. Authorities say the man was not breathing. Others at the scene were able to get the man out of the water and back onto the boat, where they began CPR, and as a result of that, the man began breathing on his own. The victim was brought to a nearby boat landing, where the Fremont ambulance took the man to an area where he was picked up by Theda Star helicopter, and flown to the Theda Care trauma center in Neenah. His condition has not been released.
