A Marshfield man is being held in the Waupaca County jail on 20-thousand dollars cash bond on a heroin charge. 25 year old Charles A. Williams faces a felony count of possession of heroin with intent to deliver, along with misdemeanor counts of carrying a concealed weapon, obstruction, and drug paraphernalia. The criminal complaint alleges sheriff’s deputies found 7 baggies of heroin in William’s car during a traffic stop in the Town of Weyauwega Friday. Authorities say it was enough heroin for 150 doses. Also seized from the vehicle was a 45-caliber handgun and 17-hundred dollars in cash. If convicted on the charges, Williams could face up to 25 years in prison. He is due back in court next Tuesday.
