A Waupaca man is being held on 15-hundred dollars cash bond following a felony bail jumping charge. 23 year old Tavin S. Matenaer also faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana as a party to a crime. The criminal complaint says authorities executed a search warrant last Monday at the Ware Street address where Matenaer was staying, allegedly finding 28 grams of marijuana, along with a loaded handgun on the living room coffee table that had the hammer cocked. The bail jumping count stems from bond conditions on a charge of possession of narcotic drugs from this past March. If convicted on the newest charges, he could face up to 6 years in prison. Matenaer is due back in court tomorrow.
