A Clintonville woman will serve time in prison on forgery convictions in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 21 year old Haylee L. Michalski entered no contest pleas to two counts of forgery, with multiple other charges dismissed, but read in for sentencing. She was ordered to serve 3 years behind bars, along with 3 years extended supervision upon her release. Michalski stole some checks in July 2018, forged them, and attempted to cash them at a Clintonville bank. The prison sentence was ordered to be served concurrently with a 3 and a half year sentence handed down in Shawano County earlier this fall. There Michalski was convicted of numerous felonies, including burglary, possession of methamphetamine, and multiple bail jumping counts.
