The Waupaca County Board of Supervisors now have a guaranteed maximum price locked in for construction of a new county highway facility. That price, guaranteed this morning by Miron Construction Manager Paul Reider, is 22.14 million dollars, which covers the building, and site work on the entire property, off County Hiway “A” in the Town of Lind. The vote to approve the guaranteed maximum price was 24-2. There are other costs with the project. County Hiway Commissioner Casey Beyersdorf says such things at engineering fees, a fiber optics line, and work on County Hiway “A” itself will bring the final price tag to 24.15 million dollars. A couple of local companies will be part of the project….. Carew Concrete is the concrete supplier, with sand from the Waupaca Foundry being used for much of the site work.
